Ferrell Returns to Biggleswade

Defender moves back to Waders.

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Biggleswade Town have re-signed defender Lewis Ferrell from Vanarama National League South side Braintree Town.

The 29-year-old right-back had joined the Iron in July from the Waders.

He had originally moved to Langford Road from league rivals Hitchin Town in November 2019.

He had signed for the Canaries in the summer of 2018 from Farnborough having spent the majority of the 2017/18 season with St Ives Town.

He previously played in the National League South for Staines Town, Hayes & Yeading United, Hampton & Richmond Borough and in his first spells with Farnborough after starting his career in Brentford’s youth system.

Ferrell made his Waders return by coming off the bench in Saturday`s Buildbase FA Trophy win against Heybridge Swifts.
