It is with great sadness that Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club Bedworth United announce the passing of fellow director and life member John Roberts on Friday morning.
John was instrumental in implementing the procedures for the club`s new community status. His knowledge and attention to detail in writing up the operating manuals were first class. Without his help and guidance, the club would not be in the position we are today.
John also served as the club physiotherapist for many years and will be fondly remembered by many past players he helped over the years.
John will be missed by all the Bedworth United family.
Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to John’s wife Sue at this sad time.
