Pitching In Southern Football League Division One South club Highworth Town have announced that their management team of Ross Adams, Jon Fisher and Kevin Maloney have committed to continue for the 2021/22 season at The Save on Tyres Stadium.

They took over in late December 2019 following the resignation of manager Jeff Roberts.

Roberts quit three-and-a-half years after he replaced Fisher.

Fisher returned as joint boss alongside former Worthians’ reserve team coach Ross Adams.

Supporters welcomed Fisher’s return, despite his near four-year absence from the dug-out after over 30 years in management.

He’d begun his second stint as Worthians boss in 2012 and went on to lead them to the semi-finals of the FA Vase in 2015, having won the 2005/06 Hellenic League Premier Division title in his first tenure.

In January, the co-bosses brought in Kevin Maloney to help them.

Maloney was assistant manager to Fisher in his previous spell in charge.
