In the Hampshire Invitation Cup, Southern Division One South club AFC Totton beat Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) Premier side Blackfield & Langley 5-1 at the Snows Stadium.

The Stags took a 13th-minute lead when Brett Williams scored from six yards after the visiting defence had failed to clear the ball.

And it was 2-0 just 4 minutes later when Ethan Taylor beat the Blackfield & Langley keeper to a through ball and put the ball into the empty net.

Two minutes before half-time, another excellent through ball was seized upon by Liam Robinson to make it 3-0 at the break.

The home side added a fourth on 74 minutes when Freddie Read was set up to drive home on the edge of the area.

And 5 minutes from time, Craig Feeney caught the visitors on the counter-attack to fire into the corner of the net and make it a nap hand for the Stags.

Blackfield & Langley did manage a consolation goal in the 88th minute.

It finished 0-0 between Wessex League Premier side Bemerton Heath Harlequins and Southern Division One South club Winchester City at Western Way.

But Southern Premier Division South club Hartley Wintney saw off the challenge of Wessex One outfit Alton Town 4-1 at The Enclosure.

Sam Argent gave the Row an early 2nd-minute lead that he doubled after 37 minutes.

The home side reduced the deficit after 64 minutes, but substitute Reece Cave restored Hartley Wintney`s two-goal advantage with 11 minutes to go, with Argent completing his hat-trick in the 2nd minute of stoppage time.

In friendly games, Southern Division One Central club Biggleswade FC were beaten 4-2 at Essex Senior League side Sawbridgeworth Town.

Tom Coles bagged both visitors` goals.

Biggleswade`s league rivals Thame United took on Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East side Risborough Rangers at the ASM Autos Stadium and edged a 3-2 win.

The Thame goals came from Harry Mepham, Callum Bunting and Ryan Blake.
