Brendan Kelly, manager of Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Bromsgrove Sporting, has made two new additions to his coaching staff.
Ian King has been appointed as assistant manager.
King spent his youth development at Aston Villa where he played as an apprentice professional before moving to his local club, VS Rugby.
It was from Butlin Road that he was sold to Stoke City and following his time at the Britannia Stadium, King went on to play for Rushden & Diamonds, Stevenage Borough, Brackley Town and Nuneaton Borough before playing at a semi-professional level for APIA Leichardt in Australia.
He has also played for Leamington and spent several seasons with Daventry Town.

King has held a UEFA A Licence for several years and also has the LMA Diploma in Football Management. He has coached at Sydney FC, Birmingham City, Leamington, Worcester City and Daventry.
He also worked for the Football League, managing the apprentices and young professionals around several Midlands professional clubs.
King made 422 appearances, scoring 89 goals in all league and cup competitions during his playing career, and he played his last competitive game at the age of 40.
Joining as goalkeeper coach is Adam Marusiak.
Marusiak started his career with Worcester and then went onto play for Bromsgrove Rovers, Dudley Town, Pershore Town, Oldbury United and Tividale, amongst others.

He spent two years working with the goalkeepers for Wolverhampton Wanderers’ development centre, before moving to America for four years and working in various States, including Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania and Texas.
He continued his coaching career back in England with Redditch United and, most recently, another of Sporting`s league rivals, Alvechurch.
