It`s now seven players who have agreed to stay at Crown Meadow.

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Lowestoft Town have taken the number of players committing to stay at Crown Meadow for 2021/22 to seven after striker Jake Reed and defenders Jack Wilkinson and Dylan Ruffles put pen-to-paper.

Reed has agreed a new deal to stay with the Trawlerboys having re-joined for a third time in February 2019 from league rivals and neighbours Leiston.

The 30-year-old was with Dagenham & Redbridge as a youngster – the East Londoners having picked him up from Thurlow Nunn Leaguers Great Yarmouth Town in 2011.

In between stints with the Trawlerboys, he has also served AFC Sudbury and Leiston.

Left-Back Wilkinson joined Lowestoft in November 2018 from Isthmian North side Cambridge City.

The 29-year-old`s other former clubs include Harlow Town, Needham Market, Hadleigh United, Mildenhall Town, Haverhill Rovers, St Neots Town and AFC Sudbury.

Ruffles has recently featured for the club`s under-19s in their friendly competition and has now agreed a contract with the club having originally signed non-contract terms last summer following his release from League One outfit Ipswich Town.

The trio join Travis Cole, goalkeeper Luis Tibbles, defender Owen Murphy, and midfielder Louis McIntosh in committing to the Trawlerboys for 2021/22.
