Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Nuneaton Borough have secured another of last season`s squad for 2021/22.
Midfielder Jordan Goddard has put pen-to-paper to remain at Liberty Way for the new season ahead.
The 27-year-old joined Boro in December 2019 from league rivals Alvechurch.
He came through the ranks at League One side Bristol Rovers and made one first team appearance in an Emirates FA Cup tie.
Whilst on Rovers` books he had three separate loan spells with Gloucester City before being released at the end of the 2013/14 season he joined Leamington in the summer of 2014.
Despite Brakes ending 2014/15 with relegation, Goddard had a solid first campaign in non-League football, scoring 11 times.
He moved on to AFC Telford United the following season and spent a productive loan spell at Sutton Coldfield Town before joining Halesowen Town.
He returned to Leamington in February 2017, helping Brakes to promotion back to Step 2, before returning to Halesowen.
He signed for Alvechurch in the summer of 2019.
Boss Jimmy Ginnelly told his club`s website: "I am chuffed to bits to agree new terms with our super fit, engine room maestro Jordan Goddard.
“He covers every blade of grass for us both going forward and also defensively. His quick feet open up defences when he goes on one of his forward runs, we could do with a few more goals from him but I’m sure he feels that as well. Jordan’s a great lad to work with and he’s an important character in the dressing room. We have got ourselves a tight knit group now and that is what all promotion challenging sides need".
