Lee Allinson, manager of Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Hendon, has made central defender Quba Gordon his first new signing ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.
The 23-year-old joins the Greens having been with Vanarama National League South side Welling United since September 2020.
He had youth spells with Queens Park Rangers and Boreham Wood.
Whilst with Wood, Gordon spent time on loan with Hendon during the 2016/17 season.
He left Wood for a spell with Isthmian League North side Maldon & Tiptree, where he was a pivotal figure in the heart of defence as The Jammers reached the Second round of the Emirates FA Cup and had a 14-point lead in the table when the season came to an end in March 2020 due to COVID-19.
Allinson told his club`s website: “Quba was our number one target when Cameron Mawer joined the club as my assistant. He's a player I've wanted to work with for a long time and I'm delighted to have finally signed him”.
