Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Tamworth have continued their squad building for the 2021/22 campaign.

Following the re-signing of eight of last season`s squad and the arrival of Jack Thomas, Ben Hart and Orrin Pendley, the Lambs have now snapped up left-sided player Jordaan Brown from league rivals Stourbridge and seen strikers Tyrell Waite and Aram Soleman re-sign for the new season ahead.

Brown is a 29-year-old who is equally at home at centre-back or as a full back.

He started his career at AFC Wimbledon and gained some senior experience with Chipstead before signing for then-Conference South club Staines Town in the summer of 2012.

After two seasons with the Swans, he headed to Vaasa in Finland to join VPS in the spring of 2014 where he got to play in the Europa League for his new club.

In February 2015 he moved to Flekkeroy in the Norwegian second division before returning to England the following winter and signing for Hayes & Yeading United in January 2016.

He subsequently joined Redditch United early in the 2016/17 campaign after re-locating to the Midlands and then moved on to Stafford Rangers in the summer of 2017.

He enjoyed a fine 2017/18 campaign with Stafford, which saw him pick up three honours at the end of the season - the managers`, players' and supporters` player of the year awards.

He joined Tamworth`s league rivals Stourbridge in the summer of 2018 where continued consistent performances saw him land the players’ and directors` player of the year awards in May 2019.
