Kavanagh Returns to Gosport on a More Permanent Basis

Loanee signs permanent deal.

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Gosport Borough have signed defender Harry Kavanagh ahead of the 2021/22 season.

Waterlooville-based Kavanagh played for Boro on loan from League One side Portsmouth last season and has now joined on a more permanent basis following his release by Pompey earlier this summer.

The right-back made 7 appearances, including 5 league matches, in a season which was ended in November.

As well as Gosport, Kavanagh also spent time on loan with Isthmian League Premier Division outfit Bognor Regis Town, for whom he played 9 times.

Kavanagh made his Pompey debut in an EFL Trophy tie against West Ham United`s under-21s in November 2020 and a second, also in the EFL Trophy, in January 2021 at Peterborough United.
