Left sided defender Tom Armitage has signed for Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Nuneaton Borough.
Armitage, who turns 18 later this month, moves to Liberty Way from League One side Burton Albion.
He was one of four academy graduates to sign professional terms for the Brewers in the summer of 2020.
Armitage was part of the Brewers youth side that featured in the EFL Youth Alliance and featured in Birmingham Senior Cup games over the course of the season.
Boro boss Jimmy Ginnelly told the club`s website: “I am very excited to sign this young lad.
“He’s just left Burton Albion having been under the guidance of Nigel Clough.
“Nigel was telling me I’ve signed a very good prospect. He’s a left sided player that’s equally at home at left back or left wing, Tom’s very quick and delivers a fantastic ball into dangerous areas of the oppositions box.
“He’s not shy in the tackle and works very hard off the ball. It’s always nice as a manager to find a good young lad and I’d like nothing more than to help Tom back into the Football League”.
