Fey Brings in a Familiar Face

Melksham add to management team.

Pitching In Southern Football League Division One South club Melksham Town have announced the appointment of John Lester to their backroom staff.

Lester is well known on the league circuit and was assistant to Richard Fey in his early years as manager at Toolstation Western League outfit Bitton FC.

Since then, Lester has been assistant manager at Yate Town and part of the play-off winning side a few years back.

Melksham boss Richard Fey told his club`s website: “I played with John many years ago and he was also my assistant at Bitton when we finished runners-up two years on the trot. With Luke Ballinger deciding to move on, it was important for me and Nathan Rudge to also have someone we both wanted and trusted as part of the backroom staff and his experience will be valuable to us”.
