Kee Re-Signing for Coalville

Fan`s favourite stays with Ravens.

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Coalville Town have announced that talisman Billy Kee has signed a new one-year contract at the Mander Cruickshank Solicitors Stadium.

Kee, who quickly became a fan's favourite, was arguably Coalville’s highest-profile signing back in February 2020 before the season was ended due to the pandemic.

An Accrington Stanley hero and also hugely successful in the league with Burton Albion, he also turned out for Leicester City, Scunthorpe United, Torquay United and Mansfield Town.

A Northern Ireland under-19 and under-21 international, during the short 2020/21 season he struck up an excellent partnership with Tim Berridge as the duo were instrumental in the Ravens positive start.

Popular figures Kalern Thomas and Tom McGlinchey have also both signed new one-year contract extensions, while club captain and midfield general Steve Towers has also agreed on terms for the coming season.

They join Chris Robertson, Jack Eggleton, Kian Taylor and Tim Berridge on the list of confirmed players so far.
