Griffiths Checks Into Kidlington

One new signing and two agree to stay with Greens.

Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club Kidlington have announced the signing of Tom Griffiths from Uhlsport Hellenic League Division One East side Abingdon United.

Griffiths is a player who has been on Kidlington`s radar for the past year and the management are really pleased to bring him to the club.

Equally comfortable at centre-back, in central midfield or at right-back, he is technically very good and possesses great energy.

He came through Abingdon`s own ranks to become an important member of the senior side.

Meanwhile, centre-back Dan West and midfielder Tom Moore have signed for another season.

West, who turns 26 later this month, originally signed for Kidlington in the summer of 2019.

Strong and dominant in the air and technically very good, he was previously with Oxford City Nomads and Ardley United before joining the Greens.

Moore, 26, is a cultured midfielder who reads the game well.

He made the step-up to the Southern League with Kidlington in 2018/29 from the development team and has excelled ever since.
