The young defender joins the Stags from Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) One side Petersfield Town.
He was signed after producing some impressive displays during the Hampshire Invitation Cup with AFC Totton recently.
Throughout the shortened 2019/20 season, Wood saw himself rise from the under-18 team into the first team at Petersfield.
