He had initially signed for the Colemen in June 2019 from then-Midland League Division One side Studley where he had been on dual terms with with Evesham, who he originally joined in the summer of 2018 from Bromsgrove Sporting, where he was in his second spell.

As a 21-year-old, Brain top-scored for Sporting in the 2015/16 season with 22 goals after a spell with Stratford Town as a youngster.

He started his career in the youth team at West Bromwich Albion before having short spells with Cambridge United, Evesham and Stourport Swifts.

After helping Hereford to two championship titles, he played 17 times for them in 2018/19 but found it difficult to recover his place in the side of a couple of niggling injuries and decided to move on.

Johnson is a young defender who moved to Evesham this time last year.

The 20-year-old was released by Cambridge United in the summer of 2019 after spending several years coming through their youth system.

He also spent the last couple of months of the 2018/19 season on `work experience` with then-Southern Division One Central outfit Yaxley where he helped them to pull away from the bottom of the table and finish the season strongly.
