New at the Simplyhealth City Ground is Army forward Greg Peel.

Middlesbrough born, Peel started his career in Leeds United`s academy before switching to Fleetwood Town and then Carlisle United.

He spent what there was of the 2020/21 season with Sydenhams Football League (Wessex) One side Bemerton Heath Harlequins, scoring 8 goals in 17 games.

Re-signing for the Citizens are goalkeeper Ryan Pryce, defender Kieran Douglas and midfielder Ollie Griggs.

A firm favourite amongst the supporters, Pryce, now 34, is an experienced former AFC Bournemouth goalkeeper who made five senior appearances for the Cherries.

He also lists Salisbury City, Gosport Borough and Fleet Town amongst his former clubs and joined City back in 2017.

Douglas, 23, was captain of Christchurch in 2018/19, earning promotion to the Wessex Premier whilst on dual registration with Southern Premier Division South outfit Wimborne Town.

After more than one attempt to lure him to Winchester, the 6`4” defender eventually made the switch in June 2019.

Griggs, 22, re-joined City in late September 2020 from Southern Premier Division South side Dorchester Town, where he had been since February 2020.

He originally made his debut for the club in January 2017 and made 33 appearances.

He started his career with Vanarama National League side Eastleigh and whilst with the Spitfires, he had loan spells with Bridgwater Town and Wimborne.
