Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Taunton Town have re-signed three more players from last season`s squad ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

The Peacocks have also registered goalkeeper Connor Sidley-Adams on Southern League forms.

The 27-year-old, a former England Schoolboys international, has appeared for Bridgwater Town, Wellington and Yeovil Town youth.

He joined Clevedon Town in July 2018 and then returned to Toolstation Western Leaguers Wellington in March 2020.

The current England Schools under-18 boys` keeper coach, previously appeared for the Peacocks in 2011/12 and 2012/13, making 19 appearances.

The latest to re-sign for the Peacocks for 2021/22 are Jack Goodall, Gethyn Hill and Lee Lucas.

Right-back Goodall, 22, signed for Taunton in October 2020 league rivals Weston-super-Mare.

Having started out with the Seagulls academy after joining as an under-14, he gained experience with Bridgwater Town in 2017 towards the back end of the season, however, he was unable to prevent them from being relegated to the Western League.

During 2017/18, he gained further experience in the Western League with Shepton Mallet on dual registration, playing 26 times and scoring one goal. In 2018/19, he again spent time in the Western League with Shepton Mallet on dual registration, this time making 29 appearances.

Hill, 26, is a forward who initially signed for Taunton in March 2020 from rivals Merthyr Town.

Originally with Championship side Cardiff City, he was released after enduring an injury-ravaged two years, which saw him tear his ACL and undergo five operations.

The former Wales under-19 international regained fitness at Christmas 2014 before being released the following March.

He was briefly with Welsh League side Goytre United but left after one game and took the rest of last season off before joining Cinderford Town in the summer of 2016.

He moved to Weston in December 2016 where he remained until joining Merthyr in 2019.

Lucas, 29, is a midfielder and a boy born in the valleys who came through Swansea City’s academy and played for the Swans` first team.

He also played for Cheltenham Town and Motherwell before he suffered a knee injury which kept him out of the game for a year.

He joined Merthyr in the summer of 2018 and then switched to the Peacocks in May 2020.
