German Defender Joins the Met

Another new player moves to Imber Court.

Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Metropolitan Police have signed German defender David Vetterlein.

The left-back, who turns 24 next week, last played for German fourth-tier side FSV Union Fürstenwalde, who he joined in August 2019 from Oberliga Hamburg league side TuS Osdorf.

He started out with fourth-tier side FC Hertha Zehlendorf and went on to have spells with fifth-tier outfit SG Rot-Weiss Frankfurt and two teams from the third level of German football, Elversberg and FC Viktoria Berlin.
