Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club St Neots Town have added two more new players to their squad for 2021/22.

Wynford Marfo and Erin Amu have both moved to the Premier Plus Stadium, while Erin`s brother Arel has put pen-to-paper to remain a Saint for the new campaign.

Marfo is a young defender who joins St Neots after being released by League Two side Leyton Orient where he came through the ranks to become a regular for the under-18 side.

Arel Amu, a powerful 25-year-old forward, initially signed for St Neots in early October 2020 from Southern Premier Division Central neighbours St Ives Town.

He had only signed for St Ives in July 2020 from St Neots` league rivals AFC Dunstable, where he had been since December 2019.

He started 2019/20 with Southern Premier South side Walton Casuals, who he joined from Vanarama National League South side Hemel Hempstead Town and then switched to Isthmian North club Cambridge City at the end of August 2019 having joined the Tudors in January 2019 from Dunstable Town.

He started his career with home-town club Luton Town, where he made a handful of first team appearances.

He had a short spell with Dunstable in 2014 before going on to play for Barton Rovers, Arlesey Town and Welling United before re-joining the Duns in 2017.

He switched to AFC Dunstable just before Christmas 2019.

Brother Erin joins the Saints after playing 10 times for league rivals Kempston Rovers in 2020/21.

The midfielder was previously with Berkhamsted and AFC Dunstable and also played Southern League football for Dunstable Town.
