Jimmy Ginnelly, boss of Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central club Nuneaton Borough has made defender Callum Westwood his latest new recruit.
The 23-year-old arrives at Liberty Way from former rivals and now Northern Premier League Division One Midlands outfit Corby Town.
The full-back joined the Steelmen in August 2019 from Boro`s league rivals AFC Rushden & Diamonds.
He had signed for Diamonds in January 2017, initially on dual-registration terms with Kettering Town, having previously been dual registered with the Poppies and Rugby Town.
Before signing for the Poppies, he was with the Northampton Town youth academy.
In October 2018 he signed dual-registration terms again, this time with United Counties League side Melton Town.
Ginnelly told his club`s website: "I felt we needed a steady right back in the group to strengthen our backline and Callum is the man. He’s very fit, tenacious and a good character around the dressing room, he wants to push his own career on and I’m sure he’ll fit in a treat at Liberty Way”.
