Adam Watkins
Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club Berkhamsted have revealed that two more members of last season`s squad have penned new deals for the new 2021/22 campaign.
Midfielder Adam Watkins and defender Matt Cooper have both re-signed for Berko.
The 29-year-old Watkins brings huge experience and quality to the squad.
He joined the Comrades in November 2020 from Southern Premier Division Central side Royston Town.
He had joined the Crows in October 2019 from Barton Rovers having been with Cambridge City since 2018.
He has previously played for Chesham United, Bedford Town, Dunstable Town and Luton Town where he was an ever-present in season 2011/12 in the National League.
He made 42 appearances in all competitions for Luton during that season, scoring 6 goals.
The following season he was in the Luton squad that beat then-Premier League Norwich City in the FA Cup.
Matt Cooper
Cooper, 26, came up through the youth ranks at Isthmian South Central outfit Northwood, playing in the Isthmian Youth League side in 2012/13.
After that, he played for Ascot United when the Berkshire Hellenic League side reached the FA Vase Quarter-Finals.
He re-signed for Northwood in June 2018 from Biggleswade United and was dual registered with Leverstock Green in 2018/19.
He initially signed for Berko in January 2020.
