Biggleswade FC have announced that the latest player to put pen-to-paper ahead of the new Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central campaign is attacker George Bailey.
The 23-year-old will look to add to the 52 games and 25 goals he has scored in a green shirt since returning from Southern Premier Division Central side St Ives Town in the summer of 2018.
An exciting attacker who can operate as a centre forward or in an advanced midfield position, after starting out at Stevenage, he spent four seasons at Biggleswade Town.
He then went on to show his consistency as he averaged just under one goal in every two games for the Waders and also had a dual spell with FC before signing for St Ives in the summer of 2018, returning to Biggleswade on a more permanent basis in September 2020.
