Slimbridge, having already signed four new players, have added three more ahead of the 2021/22 Pitching In Southern Football League Division One South season.

The Swans already have the signatures of Will Davidson from Evesham United, Jack Holmes from Cinderford Town, Toby Lawrence from Cheltenham Town and Ben McLean from Alvechurch to add to those who manager Lee Driver-Dickerson has re-signed from last season`s squad.

Now he has also brought in Isaac Thurston, Jordan Annear and Nathan Dennis and added Marley Thomas to those retained from 2020/21.

Thurston is a defender who joins the Swans after spells with Brimscombe & Thrupp and local Gloucestershire Northern Senior League outfit Leonard Stanley FC.

He joined Hellenic League Premier Division side Brimscombe & Thrupp in the summer of 2019.

Annear is a striker whose last club was Slimbridge`s league rivals Bideford AFC, who he had signed for a year ago from Toolstation Western League side Tavistock.

He had joined Tavistock after returning to the West Country in October 2019 following a brief sojourn in the North-East with ambitious Northern Premier League Premier Division outfit South Shields.

Annear, who hails from Truro, ventured north in late August 2019 after enjoying a goal-laden spell with Plymouth Parkway in the Western League Premier Division.

Previously with the likes of Porthleven, Newquay and Falmouth Town, he won the South West Peninsula League`s `golden boot` after notching 43 times in the 2017/18 season and scored almost a century of goals in just over 100 appearances for Falmouth and had trials with AFC Wimbledon, Cheltenham Town and Southern Premier Division South outfit Tiverton Town.

Season 2018/19 saw him score 19 times in 17 games for Parkway as they finished second in the Western League, and he came to Shields’ attention when he impressed in two trial matches.

Dennis is a defender who moves to Thornhill Park from Gloucestershire County League side Frampton United where he spent several seasons.

Re-signing for 2021/22 is midfielder Marley Thomas.

He re-joined the Swans in February 2020.

Formerly with Kidlington, Shortwood United and Sharpness, he spent the majority of the 2018/19 season with Evesham United before signing for rivals Cinderford Town in June 2019.
