Another Two Players Check Into Premier Plus Stadium

Two more new Saints.

Busy Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club St Neots Town have signed two more new players ahead of the 2021/22 campaign.

Midfielder Charley Barker has joined the club, despite being announced as being a new signing for Isthmian League Premier Division side Bishop`s Stortford at the beginning of the month.

The 22-year-old started his career with Leyton Orient before spending time at Cheltenham Town and also on loan at Wingate & Finchley and Northwood.

He then signed for Isthmian Premier outfit Haringey Borough, where he was a regular in their successful team at White Hart Lane before moving up a level with Vanarama National League South side Braintree Town in August 2019.

He moved to another Isthmian Premier side, Potters Bar Town, in February 2020.

Also signing for the Saints is defender Harvey Steel.

A player with great ability and a good crosser of the ball, he was on the books of St Neots` former league rivals Yaxley last season - the Cuckoos now members of the new Northern Premier League Division One Midlands.

But he will be in familiar surroundings at the Premier Plus Stadium as he is yet another former Cambridge United youngster to join the club.

He also had a loan spell in the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division with Mildenhall Town in 2019/20.
