Spencer Day, manager of Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Farnborough, has brought tricky forward Michael Fernandes back to the Easy as HGV Stadium.
The 22-year-old started out with the Middlesex-based Conquest Football Academy before moving to Farnborough in early 2018 after a spell with Vanarama National League South side Hampton & Richmond Borough.
His performances for Boro caught the eye of several professional clubs, and it was League Two Colchester United where he turned professional in the summer of 2019.
He became a regular for the under-23`s and was included in a number of matchday squads but failed to make an appearance for the U's first team.
After being involved throughout Colchester`s 2020/21 pre-season schedule, he headed just over the QE2 Bridge to join National league South outfit Dartford until January 2021.
However, he was recalled in October 2020 and sent back to Farnborough on loan until the end of December.
Fernandes was in the Boro squad containing six triallists that played National League outfit Maidenhead United in a friendly on Saturday.
