Jellis Re-Signs and New Defender Joins Aylesbury

Another new Duck.

Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club Aylesbury United have added two more players to the squad ahead of the first competitive game of the season on Saturday.

Having played in a number of pre-season games, 26-year-old defender Marcos Ushiro-Lumb joins the Ducks from now Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division side Flackwell Heath, where his main position has been right-back although he is a utility player.

Technically very good and able to play a range of different positions, he has also played for Beaconsfield SYCOB, Chalfont St Peter and Marlow previously.

Jamie Jellis made his first-team debut for the Ducks aged just 16 in 2017. Still just 20, the attacking midfielder re-signed for the club just before the season was curtailed last October.

The attacking midfielder is now in his third spell with the club following his release by League Two side Stevenage.

After his senior bow, he immediately began attracting the attention of Football League clubs before eventually joining Stevenage's academy in November 2017.

He returned to the club on loan during the 2019/20 season and showed impressive progress since his move, and shortly afterwards signed his first professional deal with Stevenage on his return.
