Premier Division Central

Alvechurch were 3-1 winners at Coles Lane against Northern Premier League Division One Midlands side Sutton Coldfield Town.

Former Burton Albion forward Charlie Dowd was amongst the Church scorers, who had an injury to their keeper in the first half. However, a nice gesture from the Royals saw them give the visitors their substitute keeper for the rest of the game.

Peterborough Sports once again looked a very powerful unit as they beat Isthmian League Premier Division side Bishop`s Stortford 5-2 at the ProKit UK Stadium.

Despite a first-half brace from Frank Merrifield, the Turbines hit five through Jordan Nicholson with four and Dan Jarvis with two.

Stourbridge were beaten 3-1 at the War Memorial Athletic Ground by now-Northern Premier League Division One Midlands side Halesowen Town in the Brookes & Clark Charity Shield.

Division One Central

Berkhamsted had a good 4-0 win at Mill Meadow against Isthmian South Central side Chalfont St Peter.

Andy Watkins put the Comrades in front after just 8 minutes and shortly afterwards, Trey Charles doubled their advantage.

Charles added his second and Berko`s third in the second half, with Lucas Kirkpatrick adding the fourth just before the end.

Newcomers Colney Heath suffered a 3-0 home defeat to an impressive Isthmian South Central Bracknell Town outfit in their latest friendly ahead of their first ever game at Step 4 level.

North Leigh beat a now-United Counties League Premier Division South Easington Sports 3-1 at Eynsham Park.

Summer signing JJ Evans gave Barum an early 3rd-minute lead which Elmore levelled from the penalty spot just before the break.

Bideford AFC were 3-1 home winners over another SWPL outfit, Bodmin Town.
