Fans` favourite Jack Dickson has returned to Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Poole Town after a season away at Vanarama National League neighbours Weymouth.
The 25-year-old defender played 31 times for Poole in 2019/20 before its premature end.
He moved up from the Dolphins` under-18s to the first team and made his debut away at Truro City in October 2013.
He went to the USA with the University of New Hampshire Wildcats at the end of the 2015/16 season but briefly returned in Christmas 2016 to make 3 appearances in the 2016/17 season.
He returned to the UK in 2017 but was hampered by injury during the 2017/18 season but left the Black Gold Stadium with over 150 games to his tally.
Chairman Chris Reeves said: “I am delighted to be able to confirm that in the face of interest from other clubs, Jack has committed himself to us for the 2021/22 season.
“JD has been involved in pre-season training and various friendlies, so we were always hopeful, but he has now signed forms hence this announcement.
“He brings so much to the table with his flamboyant, yet hard-working style of play and he was sorely missed during his brief spell away from us with Weymouth”.
