Sholing Add Former Cherries Youngster to Squad

Another new Boatman.

Pitching In Southern Football League Division One South club Sholing have added wide attacker Jake Cope to their squad.

The 20-year-old, who was originally on the books at Portsmouth as a youngster, moved to AFC Bournemouth where he came through the academy to play for the under-18 and under-23 sides.

He played 11 games on loan at Southern Premier Division South side Poole Town and scored 3 goals in 2019/20 and prior to that, also had a loan stint with league rivals Gosport Borough.

Last season he played just the one game before lockdown after signing for Isthmian League Premier Division outfit Bognor Regis Town following his release from the Vitality Stadium.
