Winger Sioni Benham has earned a deal with Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division South club Salisbury.
The 19-year-old has been with the Whites throughout pre-season and impressed with his pace, skill and willingness to run at defenders.
The Welshman moves to the Raymond McEnhill Stadium from Spanish Tercera División side, Novelda CF.
Benham started off playing for youth sides Fairwater Youth and Lisvane Panthers Youth before he joined League Two Newport County`s academy in July 2015.
He progressed through County`s ranks and was rewarded with a two-year scholarship in June 2018.
Benham made his first-team debut for Newport in a 5-4 defeat to West Ham United under-23s in the EFL Trophy in September 2019.
In February 2020 the Exiles sent Benham to Cymru League side Dinas Powys on a two-month loan and when he returned, he was released by County.
He signed for Novelda in November 2020.
