Striker Mark Francis has re-joined Pitching In Southern Football League Division One Central club Wantage Town.
The 26-year-old, who scored in Saturday`s 2-2 pre-season friendly draw with Division One South side Cinderford Town at Alfredian Park, returns from Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division outfit Royal Wootton Bassett Town.
He had moved to Bassett in January 2020 from Wantage`s league rivals re- Didcot Town, where he has returned to in July 2019.
He originally joined the Railwaymen as a young striker from Swindon Town after being in Portsmouth`s academy but found his opportunities limited due to Didcot's wealth of striking riches at the time.
He then joined Wantage for the first time where he not only became a prolific goalscorer at Southern League level but often led the line on his own and captained the Fred`s during a difficult period.
His outstanding form caught the eye and moves to Salisbury and Evesham United followed.
