Stratford Town begin their 2021/22 Pitching In Southern Football League Premier Division Central journey with a trip to Coalville Town tomorrow.
And The Bards could have a couple of new faces in their squad after the late signing of Jaanai Gordon and Bailey Fuller.
Gordon is a 25-year-old striker who moves to the Arden Garages Stadium from league rivals Banbury United, where he had returned to in October 2020.
He had originally left Banbury in November 2019 to join Vanarama National League South side Oxford City.
He previously played in the Football League for Peterborough United, Newport County and Cheltenham Town and had time with West Ham United before a long-term injury ruled him out of the game for 18 months whilst at Cheltenham.
He returned to football towards the end of the 2018/19 season with Tamworth before joining Banbury for the first time in August and he bagged 12 goals in the league and 15 in all competitions for the Puritans.
He returned to Tamworth in the summer of 2020 before moving back to the Plant Hire Community Stadium.
Fuller is a 22-year-old creative attack-minded midfielder.
He came through National League North side Kidderminster Harriers` youth side and was part of the under-23 squad.
He was involved in a first-team squad against Stafford Rangers in September 2019.
He moved to Midland League Premier Division side Stourport Swifts in 2020.
