Chesham Bolster Numbers for Bank Holiday

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Chesham United bolstered their squad ahead of the Bank Holiday weekend.

The most experienced of the new signings is 23-year-old goalkeeper Manny Agboola.

Agboola began his career with Championship side Reading before transferring his scholarship to League One Oxford United in 2015.

Whilst on the U`s books, he spent some time on loan at Hampton & Richmond Borough, Solihull Moors, North Leigh, Leatherhead, Staines Town and Banbury United.

He joined Vanarama National League South outfit Billericay Town in the summer of 2019 before signing for Isthmian League North side Romford in November 2019, switching to Isthmian South Central Barking in March 2020.

Daniel Opoku-Boateng is a young attacking midfielder.

The 20-year-old joins the Generals having previously for Bedfont Sports in the Isthmian League South Central.

He made 9 first-team appearances for Sports in 2020/21.

Showkat Tahir is a 20-year-old left winger who started his career with Brentford as a youngster before being signed by Fulham`s academy in 2016.

He progressed through the Cottagers` ranks to become a regular in the under-18 side before being released in the summer of 2019.

After trialling with a few clubs, he joined Isthmian League Premier Division outfit Cheshunt in December 2019.

Midfielder Troy Perez-Duah is a product of the Grade A Academy in London.

In August 2020, the now 18-year-old impressed during a trials day and was signed by League Two Walsall, where he played for the under-18 team in 2020/21.
