St Neots Boss Uses U`s Link Once More

Another young United player makes the move to the Premier Plus Stadium.

Peter Gill, manager of Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club St Neots Town, has used his connections with League One Cambridge United again to bring in highly rated defender Mamadou Jobe on loan.

Gill, who is United`s senior development phase coach as well as boss of the Saints, saw Jobe play a starring role in the U`s 4-1 EFL Trophy victory over Oxford United recently.

Jobe, who featured regularly in United’s U18 side last season, penned a two-year professional contract in May.

The young centre-back played in pre-season friendlies against Cardiff City and Brentford XI, and Gill believes Jobe’s experience with the U’s will serve the defender in good stead.
