There was one game each in the Pitching In Southern League Division One Central and South on Wednesday night.

In the Central section, Kidlington picked up only their second point of the new campaign at Yarnton Road against an AFC Dunstable side who had won four of their previous five league games.

It was goalless at half-time and then the visitors broke the deadlock in the 68th minute when Kieran Hamilton fired past Greens` keeper Harry Way via a post.

However, the struggling hosts grabbed a 77th-minute equaliser with Steve Robertson finishing off some excellent work from Connor Mattimore.

But a couple of minutes later, Kidlington were forced to hang on with ten-men when they had substitute Jack Gaul sent-off for a reckless challenge on Lewis Ferrell.

They did so though to record a hard-earned point.

In the South, Bristol Manor Farm edged a 2-1 win at the Stan Robinson Stadium against Willand Rovers.

The visitors got off to a great start when Lewis Leigh-Gilchrist opened the scoring after just 3 minutes had gone on the clock.

Then, on 25 minutes, Manor Farm were awarded a penalty when Kyle Tooze was pulled back in the box and Owen Howe duly converted from 12 yards to make it 2-0.

Rovers put the visitors under a good deal of pressure in the second half, had a Ben Bament effort ruled out, but then did pull a goal back after 70 minutes through Louis Jagger-Cane.

Lee Lashenko`s side managed to hold on though to record their third win of the campaign to date.
