Marsh Returns to Biggleswade

Striker leaves Canaries.

Forward Alex Marsh has re-joined Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Biggleswade FC from Southern Premier Division Central neighbours Hitchin Town.

The 26-year-old, whose twin brother Lawrie also plays for the Canaries, helped Biggleswade win the Spartan South Midlands League Premier Division title in 2018/19 with a stunning 32 goals.

A former Rushden & Diamonds and Peterborough United youngster, he originally joined the Greens in 2016.

He moved to Hitchin in October 2019 but his work commitments have now demanded that he cannot devote the necessary time to playing at Step 3 level.
