Second Frenchman Joins Barwell

Defender joins midfield compatriot.

Following the signing of Herve-Pepe Ngoma from league rivals Coalville Town, Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Barwell have now added his French compatriot William Edjenguele.

The experienced 34-year-old defender moves the short distance from another of the Yellows` league rivals, Nuneaton Borough, where he had been since June 2020 after moving to the area.

He ended the truncated 2019/20 campaign with Vanarama National League South side Wealdstone, who were subsequently crowned champions and were promoted to the National League, joining in November 2019.

He began his professional career for Le Mans B in 2005 before moving to Swiss side Neuchatel Xamax and then Greek side Panetolikos, earning promotion to the Greek Superleague in 2011.

He first moved to the United Kingdom in 2012 and played 33 times for Coventry City and then 19 times for Bury before returning to Greek football with Panetolikos again and Veria.

He returned to Britain and joined Scottish side Dundee United in 2016 and made 37 appearances and also played for Falkirk on loan.
