Green`s Back at Biggleswade

Keeper returns to Greens.

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Biggleswade FC have re-signed goalkeeper Dan Green.

The 29-year-old returns to the Greens from league rivals AFC Dunstable.

He had signed for AFC in January 2019 after a couple of seasons with Welwyn Garden City.

All tall commanding keeper, he also counts New Bradwell St Peter, Aylesbury United, Leighton Town, Ampthill Town, Bedford Town and Cranfield United amongst his former clubs.

Biggleswade`s joint-manager Dave Northfield told his club`s website: "We are really pleased to have Dan back at the club. He was outstanding when with us previously. Unfortunately for us, that form got the attention of higher-level clubs, so his spell with us was a short one.

“With injuries and work commitments creating a bit of uncertainty on the goalkeeping front recently, we are delighted to have the opportunity to bring Dan back to the club for a second time. He will bring experience and a huge presence behind our defence, and we are looking forward to seeing him take the gloves against St Neots Town on Wednesday night".
