Former Favourites Return to Barnstaple

Two more re-join Barum

Two former favourites have returned to Pitching In Southern League Division One South club Barnstaple Town as they look to get off the mark under their new joint bosses Kevin Squire and Kevin Darch.

Striker Billy Tucker re-joins Barum after spells in the South West Peninsula League Premier Division with Helston Athletic and, this season, Torrington AFC.

The 26-year-old began his career with Barnstaple in 2011 before joining Ilfracombe Town in 2013.

He had a short spell with Bideford AFC in 2013/14 but re-joined Barnstaple for half a season in 2014.

He re-joined Bideford AFC from Barnstaple in January 2015 and became an important player for the club, scoring 13 goals from midfield in 2016/17, 10 in 2017/18 and another 13 in 2018/19.

Also returning to Barnstaple is Craig Allan re-joined Paulton Rovers in the summer of 2019 from rivals Bideford.

He had joined Bideford from Barnstaple in the summer of 2017.

He represented Holsworthy, Ilfracombe Town and Bridgwater Town before joining Paulton for a season in 2015/16.

He then spent a year at Barnstaple before signing for the Robins.
