Pearce Coup For Thame

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Thame United have pulled off something of a coup by signing experienced midfielder or striker David Pearce.

The 30-year-old joins the Red Kits from Southern Premier Division South side Chesham United.

He had returned to the Generals in 2018, having previously spent two seasons at the Meadow before signing for Vanarama National League South side Oxford City.

He was previously at Hemel Hempstead Town, where he scored 17 goals in the team that won the 2013/14 Southern Premier title.

He joined Hemel in February 2011 following the demise of Windsor & Eton.

He originally came through the youth set-up at Wycombe Wanderers and had enjoyed a successful loan period at Bracknell Town.

Pearce told Thame`s website: “I’m very happy to be signing for Thame United and starting a new challenge. It’s a great little club with lots of potential and hopefully I can help them get to the next level”.
