Two Added to Wantage Squad

Two midfielders for Freds.

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Wantage Town have added a couple of players to their squad.

Attacking midfielder Shaquille Ishmael joins the Freds having been most recently with Isthmian League South Central Division side Bracknell Town.

The 21-year-old signed for the Robins in 2020 from Southern Premier Division Central side Hitchin Town, where he had been since arriving from Southern Division One Central side North Leigh in November 2019.

The skilful striker is lightning quick and has previously played for Hanwell Town, Edgware Town and represented his county, making starting appearances for the Middlesex FA under-18's.

In 2019, he played a pivotal role in the final of the England College`s FA National Cup to help Boreham Wood crowned winners.

The Afredians have also signed 19-year-old Dennis Neequaye.

Another midfielder, he joins after being on the books at Southern Counties East League Division One side Croydon.
