Three minutes into the second half at Bloomfields, with the scoreline still 0-0, the Marketmen`s striker Byron Lawrence won a header from a corner but fell badly and picked up what looked like a nasty injury.

The game was delayed for some time while the stricken player was on the pitch but in the end the referee called a halt to proceedings.

At the Mander Cruickshank Solicitors Stadium, Coalville took an early 6th minute lead against struggling St Ives through Steve Towers from close range.

The Saints` experienced goalkeeper Paul White kept the Ravens at bay until 3 minutes before the break when he could only push a Luke Shaw effort away but straight to Tim Berridge, who slotted home the rebound.

The points were assured on the hour-mark when Berridge turned provider for Billy Kee to divert his shot past White.

Rushall Olympic and Leiston moved into the top five in fourth and fifth place respectively, level on 28 points after both earned home wins.

The Pics beat Alvechurch 3-1 at windy Dales Lane.

Danny Glover put the home side in front after 23 minutes and just 6 minutes later, Rackeem Reid doubled Liam McDonald`s side`s advantage.

Owen Parry made it 3-0 in the 73rd minute, with the visitors` getting a consolation penalty for handball by Kristian Green in the 3rd minute of stoppage time.

Leiston saw off Stourbridge 2-1 at Victory Road.

With the wind in their favour in the first half, the Glassboys failed to take their chances as the interval saw the sides still all-square at 0-0.

The deadlock was finally broken 16 minutes from time with a volley from Finlay Barnes.

And he made it 2-0 just 7 minutes later, with Stourbridge`s consolation arriving 5 minutes into time added on at the end from Reece Styche.

Tamworth are now sixth after they edged a 1-0 in Barwell`s first home league game at the newly-laid 3G pitch at the UK Flooring Direct Stadium.

A crowd of 504 witnessed the new surface being opened by Josh Ashby of UK Flooring Direct and chairman Dave Laing.

However, the Lambs failed to read the script and they stole an 89th minute winner from Tyrell Waite, who latched on to a loose ball after Barwell `keeper Peter Castle had saved the initial effort.

Hednesford Town dropped down to seventh after they suffered a 3-2 defeat at Keys Park to AFC Rushden & Diamonds, who are now eleventh.

A crowd of 581 saw a thriller which Pitmen manager Keenan Meakin-Richards will probably be fuming about for days!

He saw his team lead 2-0 with goals from Todd Parker after 38 minutes and Andre Brown on the hour-mark and it looked like being a comfortable afternoon for the hosts.

But Ryan Hughes reduced the deficit in the 84th minute and then Ravi Shamsi grabbed the equaliser 3 minutes later.

It seemed like the spoils were going to be shared until the 6th minute of stoppage time when teenage sub Will Jones glanced home a corner to win it for Diamonds.

Nuneaton Borough pulled themselves off second-bottom spot after a 1-1 draw against Bromsgrove Sporting at Liberty Way.

In front of a crowd of 607, saw a goalless first half but just shy of the hour-mark, Demitri Brown headed Sporting in front.

But on 74 minutes, a fine first-time effort from Danny King pulled Boro level.

The day`s two other matched finished goalless.

Bottom-markers Hitchin Town produced a much better performance in holding mid-table neighbours Biggleswade Town to a 0-0 draw at Langford Road.

The Waders had to play the final 14 minutes with ten-men when James Peters was shown a second yellow card, but the Canaries were unable to take advantage.

Both Lowestoft Town and Redditch United hit the woodwork at Crown Meadow but in the end, neither could find the target as this game also fizzled out into a stalemate.
