Bromsgrove Bring in Two

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Bromsgrove Sporting have signed defender Roque Nchaso and winger Jamie Molyneux.

Nchaso has had quite some footballing journey!

The now 22-year-old centre-back had his dreams shattered when he was released by Premier League West Ham United in 2018.

He had joined West Ham at the age of 16 after being spotted playing for Northern Premier League Division One East side Cleethorpes Town.

He went straight into the Hammers` under-18 side and excelled and after a while was moved up to the development squad, and was part of an under-23s trip to Hong Kong for a tournament in May 2017.

But he was released from the London Stadium and, after trialling with a few clubs, found himself at Isthmian League Premier Division outfit Bowers & Pitsea.

He started out in the under-23 team but after a series of impressive performances, was promoted to the senior side in March of 2019 and he helped the Essex side to promotion from the North Division.

However, a knee injury saw him out of the game for eight months, between May 2019 and January 2020.

With the injury and eventually the Covid-19 pandemic, Nchaso left Bowers & Pitsea after his contract had expired.

He went on trial at Vanarama National League side Dover Athletic, but nothing came of it and he decided to look for opportunities outside of England and he went to Croatia in July 2020.

He then went to Gloria Bistrita in Romania but again wasn`t offered a deal, so he returned to England.

He signed for Isthmian Premier side Carshalton Athletic in September 2020 and in the summer of 2021, he moved on to Bromsgrove`s league rivals Biggleswade Town.

Capped by Equatorial Guinea, he then switched to Northern Premier Division One Midlands side Wisbech Town in September.

Molyneux moves to the Victoria Ground from another NPL Division One Midlands outfit, Halesowen Town.

The 27-year-old signed for Halesowen in February 2019 from then-Midland League side Westfields.

He was in his third spell with the Hereford-based outfit, re-joining them in September 2017, a year after leaving allpay Park to join neighbours Hereford FC and then leaving for league rivals Highgate United in February 2018 before returning the following June.
