FC Romania Edge Nine-Goal Thriller

Whilst there were a dozen goals scored in two games in the southern section, the only match in the Pitching In Southern League Division One Central on Wednesday night produced nine!

FC Romania eventually edged the encounter 5-4 against fourth-from-bottom Hertford Town at Theobalds Lane.

Tobi Coker bagged a second-half brace for the hosts which Obinna Ogbonna matched for Hertford.

A Chris Gosling own goal, Usman Adeniji and Zenon Sylianides were the other Romania scores, with recent signing from Uxbridge, Kayne James-Thompson and Luis Adrien replying for the visitors.
