Two In - One Out at Nuneaton

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Nuneaton Borough have signed a second youngster on loan.

Earlier this week, Ben Midgley moved to Liberty Way on loan from Championship side Huddersfield Town.

Manager Jimmy Ginnelly has now gone back to League Two Mansfield Town to bring Nathan Caine back to Boro for a second loan spell, having made 2 appearances and scored one goal earlier this season.

The 19-year-old tricky forward joined the Stags as a youngster following a spell with Rochdale.

Caine is a graduate of the club's academy and made one appearance for Mansfield`s first team in 2020/21 against Scunthorpe United in the Papa John's Trophy.

Nuneaton have also brought in young goalkeeper Bradley Foster from Northern Premier League Division One Midlands side Ilkeston Town.

The 20-year-old spent time on the books at Stoke City’s academy before switching to Championship rivals Derby County in 2018.

He initially broke into the Rams’ under-18 side and went on to play 15 times for them at that level.

He then played a few times for the under-23s last season but was released this past summer.

After being linked with several sides, he eventually joined Ilkeston at the beginning of October.

He made two appearances for the Robins` senior side this season.

Meanwhile, leaving Nuneaton is much-travelled striker Massiah McDonald, who has joined Northern Premier League Division One Midlands side Shepshed Dynamo.

The 31-year-old joined Boro in August from Midland League Premier Division side Gresley Rovers.
