Now Greco Becomes a Loan Rover

Pitching In Southern League Division One Central club Barton Rovers have signed left-sided defender or midfielder Rico Greco on a month`s loan from Southern League Premier Division South leaders Hayes & Yeading United.

The 19-year-old joined Hayes & Yeading in September 2020, having been in the academy at Vanarama National League side Barnet.

He started out in the youth system at Luton Town from age 13 before switching to The Hive, London in 2019.

He had a short loan spell at Southern Premier Division South rivals Beaconsfield Town last season to gain more first-team experience and wa on loan at Barton`s league rivals Aylesbury United earlier this season, playing 5 times and scoring once.

Greco, who has appeared on the bench for Hayes & Yeading on four occasions this season to date, scoring once, is, however, no stranger to Sharpenhoe Road, having played once for them back in 2018/19 – ironically against Aylesbury.
