Pitching In Southern League Premier Division Central club Tamworth have signed young midfielder Liam Cross on loan from League Two side Northampton Town.
The 18-year-old has just returned to Sixfields after making 10 appearances and scoring 4 goals for the Lambs` league rivals St Ives Town on loan since August.
Cross made his Cobblers debut in October 2020 in an EFL Trophy tie against Southampton under-21s.
He signed his first professional contract in May 2021 having made his League debut away at Sunderland a few days previously.
