Another Terra is Loaned to Wimborne

Second loanee for Magpies.

Pitching In Southern League Premier Division South club Wimborne Town have signed a second player this week on loan from Vanarama National League neighbours Weymouth to aid their push away from the bottom of the table.

Following Zander McBurnie to New Cuthbury is striker Ahkeem Rose.

Rose, who turned 23 last Saturday, joined the Terras in July from league rivals Dover Athletic where he had been since September 2020.

The pacey Jamaican made 43 appearances in all competitions for League Two side Grimsby Town before being released in May 2020.

He made his first-team debut against Rochdale in the EFL Cup in August 2018 and scored 3 goals during his time with the Mariners.

He is, however, certainly no stranger to non-League football, having started out in the Midland League with Pelsall Villa and Heather St Johns before being snapped up by Grimsby in December 2016.

He also had a spell on loan in the National League North with Boston United in 2018/19.
