Goalkeeper Callum Coulter moves to the Hampshire coast having also recently dual-registered with Isthmian League South East Division side East Grinstead Town, where he made his debut on December 4th in an unfortunate 5-0 defeat at high-flying Hastings United.
The 21-year-old joined The Shots in early October from Southern Premier Division South side Harrow Borough, where he had been since August.
He had been released by League Two Colchester United in July following a three-year spell with the U’s.
Although he did not make a senior appearance during his time at the JobServe Community Stadium, he nevertheless spent much of the season in Colchester’s first-team squad and was regularly involved on matchday.
Originally with Premier League Crystal Palace as a youngster, he has had to overcome considerable adversity in life, having suffered serious injuries in a horrific road accident at the age of 13.
As a result, he fractured his skull in 12 different places, was left partially blind in his left eye, and 50 per cent deaf in his right ear.
Whilst on the U`s books, he spent time on loan at Isthmian North side Maldon & Tiptree, Isthmian Premier outfit Bowers & Pitsea and Thurlow Nunn Leaguers Brantham Athletic.
Also moving to Lymington is young centre-back James Gorman.
The 19-year was a summer recruit for The Shots after being released by Joey Barton at League Two Bristol Rovers.
He had come through the system at the Memorial Ground to become a regular in the under-18 side.
He has been turning out for the under-23s since moving to the Rec.
